Every year we raise money for a local charity or group. Last year we raised over $5,000 for the Manasquan VFW, which they put towards adding a handicapped ramp for their disabled Veteran members. This year we chose Troopers Assisting Troops (TAT), a charity that operates locally in Spring Lake/Sea Girt. TAT is a grass roots non-profit group of retired and active New Jersey State Troopers and friends providing support to returning Wounded Warriors from the Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF)/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and works with local recreational and rehabilitative programs.
TAT focus a lot of their efforts on working with the Wounded Warrior Project, K9s for Warriors and the US Army’s Wounded Warrior Transition Units (WWTU). The money they raise help defray the costs associated with warrior transportation, food and supplies. The event we are organizing is called the “Day of Giving” and will take place in two parts.
Our Day of Giving event, will be held on Saturday April 22nd, 2017 at The Manasquan Beach House from 7:00pm-10:00pm. The event will include a buffet, one drink and a gift auction. The best part is that a few of our members are in bands, and have volunteered to come play! Pat Roddy from the Pat Roddy Band on acoustic, The Desperados, and also an appearance from the Monmouth County Police & Fire Pipes & Drums!

You can help in three ways. 1- purchasing tickets to the event (via link at the bottom). 2- You can donate a gift basket for our gift auction which will take place at the event, which we would very much appreciate!
